A few years ago, I made the difficult decision to shave my hair after experiencing significant hair loss. I felt that starting again from the roots might help my hair recover. During that time, I turned to wigs for confidence, but quickly realised how challenging it was to find options that were both affordable and truly natural-looking.

The wigs within my budget often felt unnatural and didn’t feel like me. The ones that looked realistic were simply out of reach. I wanted hair that blended seamlessly, felt comfortable, and didn’t draw attention—especially during a time when I already felt vulnerable and self-conscious.

That experience stayed with me.

I had met Alex, my business partner, many years earlier. Alex has extensive experience in the wig and hair extensions industry and a deep understanding of sourcing beautiful, high-quality hair at accessible prices. Although my own hair had begun to grow back, the inspiration was already there—to create something better for people who felt the way I once did.

Together, we founded Beautiva Hair.

My background is in hair and beauty, which gave me a strong foundation in hair care and styling. Over time, my passion grew—especially for hair extensions, hair toppers, and alternative hair solutions. Hair plays such an important role in confidence and self-expression, and for me personally, extensions became essential, as my hair does not grow very long.
